In 1976, Keith Ellett developed a small, simple, clean and quiet lift that was affordable to the domestic owner. This achievement led to the launch of Elite Elevators in 1978. After changing hands several times, Elite Elevators was sold to Geoff Ellett in 1978. He renamed the company to Access Elevators, and fervently applied himself to the areas of service, manufacture and product development. If was through Geoff’s hard work that the company has grown to become the success throughout New Zealand that it is today.
